Hi,

I am trying to customize my phone and found some cute AOD themes. The problem is that the AOD only applies to the main screen, but not the cover screen.

Though you can turn on "tap to display" for the wallpaper, I want for the specific AOD i selected to appear-- not the wallpaper.

Is there a solution with this? Even with Goodlock, customization for the Coverscreen is still quite limited.

Hey, Hyki, this is a great inquiry. I think you should be able to enable the AOD theme for the cover by going to Settings > Lock Screen & AOD > Always on Display > When to show, then Tap to Show. When you click on Tap to show, you should get another option that says "Show Wallpaper on Cover-Screen. Hopefully, this works for you! Let us know if this helps at all.

Are you using a Flip or Fold? The cover screen customization on the Flip is separate from the standard lock screen and can be adjusted to your liking by going to Settings > Cover Screen > Add New

This separation can prevent AODs downloaded in Galaxy Themes from applying to the cover screen.

If you are using a fold, you should only have the standard lock screen on both the inner and outer screens rather than separate cover screen settings.

Even on a Fold, you may still run into compatibility issues with Galaxy Theme AODs as they are a legacy feature predating the unified lock screen/AOD. The AOD and Lock Screen used to be separate. Since One UI 6.1, they have been linked so that the clock style you select for the lock screen also appears for the AOD.

While I don't think it is the intended behavior so ymmv, I am currently able to set separate AOD & Lock Clock styles using LockStar. Open LockStar > Tap the "LockStar" pill > always on display > change clock style
