Fold & Flip PhonesI've been a Galaxy Z Fold user for several generations and genuinely love the device. But the recent One UI 8.5 update changed the notification panel on the inner screen to display at roughly half-width, and I have to be honest โ it's a significant step backward in usability.
I understand the intent is one-handed convenience, but on a device I specifically chose because of its large inner display, having the notification panel and quick settings cramped into half the screen feels counterintuitive. The whole point of the Z Fold is that expansive real estate. This change undermines it.
I tried Good Lock and QuickStar looking for a workaround โ no luck. There's no setting to restore the full-width panel. That means there's no user choice, which is the part that stings the most. Samsung has always been great about giving power users options.
All I'm asking for is a toggle โ let users choose between the new half-width panel and the classic full-width behavior. That's it. Give us the choice and everyone wins.
Please pass this along to the UI team. This is the kind of thing that keeps loyal customers loyal.
Thank you for listening.

Fold & Flip Phones
How can this please be addressed asap. I just purchased the most expensive phone of my life, fell in love, and now one week later it's completely ruined.
