Hello, There. We have looked into this for you and found that this is not an option currently available. We have marked your post as feedback however for our engineers.
Don't think there is a routine to switch between navigation buttons and navigation gesture bars, but you can turn "Assistant menu" (which has home, recent, back button) on in "Change settings" for your driving mode.
Or, use "One hand operation+" to set up a swipe action to "show/hide navigation bar"
