Fold & Flip Phones
Hello!
I've been using the Translate function by holding down the Home button and selecting the Translate button in the pop-up menu. It works great.
I've also used the Scroll and Translate option that appears after the screen is translated. It has gone from Spanish to English nicely.
Until this week when I updated the security level to Oct 1 release. Now the single screen Translate works but Scroll and Translate no longer translates.
Unlocked Z Fold6 (purchased direct from Samsung)
T-mobile carrier.
One UI 8
Android 16
Any ideas?
Warm regards, David

Okay, I finally found an answer that seems to work.
After selecting to Translate the screen, the auto-detected source language and the target language appear at the top. Even though the auto- detected source language is correct, change it manually to the source language. Then the Scroll and Translate function works.
Now I'm sure (well, I hope) someone at Samsung could have helped with this.
How does one get actual help from Samsung? Everything directs to this community, and with few eyeballs and only one "same problem" response (I hope my "solution" works for you too @userIUntuuyWKA), it's not effective support.
