Device protection missing?

My note 20 ultra has no device protection selection on device care application. Anyone know why?

I've watched a few videos on how to turn device protection on or enabled it, but the icon just doesn't show up. 

My carrier is/was sprint, now t mobile could this be the problem.

The device protection feature is available for unlocked devices (U1) while carrier model phones have that feature stripped

That's cause the carrier wants you buy their insurance
