Gallery Photo Editor Text Color & Font

What am I missing?

Entering text in the default Gallery photo editor.

When I choose a color, it applies to the background bubble only.

The letters themselves just default to black or white.

Also, though there's a Font button, it doesn't seem to change anything.

Galaxy Note 10, so maybe I'm behind the times, but this has never worked.

Did I miss a key control?

The screenshot here is what I think you have, so when you change color, the background color is change.

I think you have to tab on the "T" icon until there is only "T" icon with no white bubble.

Ever since the last software update a few months ago I have had the inability to draw a straight line with the paintbrush in any color but black. I've had 2 different samsung phones since the update (currently have the S23 ultra) and have had the same issue, causing me to believe that this may not be a phone/software issue but that they just got rid of this feature. If someone does know if you can still draw a straight line in all colors using the paintbrush, please explain to me how because I really miss this feature and use to use it quite a lot. Thx

@jaybird1126 It is working fine for me. I tried a blue and a red.

When you draw the line, just pause and hold at the end for a second or two and it will automatically be straightened out for you.

Well, I tried but still no luck. No matter what color I use it will just leave a black line. Did this on my last phone as well following the last software update.
