How can I optimize my screen touches?

I have to close my screen to get to the next screen  I'm nor understanding on how to optimize it to be up to date with this new update

Try rebooting into recovery mode, clearing the cache, and then running the repair apps option. Your phone will restart after. Test it out. LMK if this helps! GL!

What do you mean "to hey to the next screen"? The next screen is what? Please provide an example.
