Note 7 10 year old battery overheating

My galaxy Note7 keeps overheating every time I charge it feels like an oven I've had the same phone for 10 years I don't no why this happens?

Probably bad battery, 10 years is a long time for battery

@rawi The Note 7 in the US had battery issues from the start. It was recalled twice in the US when it was new. You couldn't fly on a plane with it. It was my first Note. I loved it but had to return it... twice. Got the Note 8 as soon as it came out. 

So, it is probably the battery.

I thought Samsung had disabled the Note 7. Personally I'd never allow a note 7 in my home.
