Galaxy Note PhonesI do admit that i used my phone alot while charging and gaming. it started happening last night my phone screen would randomly blackout but i could still hear sounds and press things pressing the power button on and off would sometimes work to show the screen but if the phone is hot(due to charging or playing a game) it would keep blacking out. I tried cooling it using a phone cooler. It worked on making it not blackout but if it gets hot again it started happening again. Im not really a tech guy so i dont know what to do. As unreliable as chatgpt is i asked what could be a problem and it told me that its a battery problem and my phone is protecting itself from damaging itself due to the battery being bad.

You didn't say which device you have or how old it is. You may want to take it to a service center for evaluation. Here's how to find one near you:

Galaxy Note PhonesThe phone will always protect itself from overheating. It does not mean your battery is bad. Phones are especially prone to overheating with extensive use of processor/battery intensive apps while charging. They are prone to overheating with extensive use of processor intensive apps, but more so while on the charger. No phone is made for the kind of intensive gaming that computers are made for, so maybe either lighten up on the game playing or play simple games.
