Galaxy Note PhonesThe recent Android update for my Note9 that was available Sunday, November 4 messed up Google Maps and Waze in Android Auto in my 2018 VW.
After installing the update, the touchscreen is misaligned when using those apps, but no others are affected, and the Android Auto icons at the bottom of the screen are fine.
In Maps and Waze, the touch point doesn't line up with the icons, and sometimes I can't get the icon to work at all. It's like a calibration issue, but only in those apps.

Galaxy Note PhonesI have not. I have rebooted the phone. I just did a force stop and clear cache on both apps, and I'll see if the problem is fixed on my commute home today. Thanks.

Galaxy Note PhonesThe force stop and cache clear did not fix the problem. I'm going to try deleting all app data, uninstall, and reinstall Waze to see if that fixes the problem.

Galaxy Note PhonesDeleting the app data and reinstalling Waze didn't fix the issue, either.

Galaxy Note PhonesFound the solution. You need to adjust your phone resolution. It started to work perfectly once I adjusted the screen resolution ON MY PHONE to FHD+ 2220x1080.

Galaxy Note PhonesThanks for posting that. I'll give it a try, although I don't consider it the solution, as I don't want to drop the resolution of my phone down from the full quad HD, since I don't have battery life issues. This might also explain the fact that it seems like the Maps and Waze Android Auto display had been uglier, with jaggies in the graphics, since around the same time.
