I have the Note 205G phone on Verizon and recently I started getting notifications/reminders very late and often times repeatedly over and over again. I noticed it first with the Samsung reminder app, I have a reminder every day at 1pm to take a medication and it was coming in around 4:17/4:18 PM.
I also have Twitter/X notifications on for certain accounts and they are coming in hours late and then when I clear them, they keep coming.
It is not every app, I still get text messages and emails on time, it seems to mostly effect apps that send me reminder like notifications.
I feel like I have tried everything to fix this but nothing is working, I have turned off all battery restricting options, no adaptive battery, unrestricted on both those example apps, I've updated every software I could and restarted multiple times. I am trying to avoid a factory reset if I can, please help.
Try clearing the cache on the apps first. That is delaying notifications response. Then if it doesn't fix it. Clear the data next. This will force a fresh install. Then just set up your notifications again. And see if they come in on time. Make sure your phone is up to date on software. And apps are updated regularly.
Also look at your notifications settings. In advanced settings make sure notifications are set by time
Cleared data and cache and did a test reminder, still didn't work. Everything is up to date. I don't have that option for setting notifications by time.
No it's not. I did boot into safe mode and the reminders are working in safe mode but, I don't even know where to begin to find out which app is the culprit then.
