So I was looking to purchase the Samsung Galaxy ring, and on the advertisement for it on SAMSUNG'S own site, it states that I can get an automatic $200 trade-in credit. So when I go to try to purchase it I do not see the trade-in option. I reached out to a Samsung rep and was told they don't not offer the trade-in credit, now just to make sure I asked if that statement about the credit on their own site was incorrect, I was told yes. Is that not considered false advertisement? And if so is that not illegal?

Look like they corrected the image since they don't offer trade in on the rings

Yup. I saw that. Guess the moment I mentioned false advertisement they had their web developers update it

It was because you brought the error to their attention, not because they are quaking in their boots over your false advertising claim.
