Can we push this to the Devs, putting Bluetooth devices on "disabled mode" so that phone doesn't connect to it. Here's my scenario: i use my friends car and it keeps connecting even when i dont want it to, i don't want to forget the device every single time.
My workaround right now is using routines which if connected to the car, the it disconnects automatically.

Tried that, the car's infotainment sys is so aggressive it would pair back and back again

That's the thing, i don't want to do that every single time I'm in the car. I have a working routines thing that does it automatically on the phone. This was just a suggestion maybe the devs can see and maybe do something with it. Thanks though

You or your friend should go into the car's BT configuration and select which device is primary.  If more than one paired devices are detected in the car at the same time, the primary phone will be the one that connects.  Any other device will only connect when it is the only one in the car.

You have a couple of options as well.  One, you are already using - a routine to disconnect when it connects to the car (not ideal if you intend to use it and you are the driver).  Another would be to just turn off your phone's BT when you don't want to connect to a BT device (also not ideal if your phone is paired with a watch).

If you are saying that sometimes when you use the car, you don't want your phone to connect even when you are the only one in the car, I have to ask why?  If you have the ability to connect to BT in the car while you are driving, you should - even if you don't live in a state with hands free laws (are there still any?), for your safety and the safety of everyone on the road with you.

You could turn off Bluetooth and or unpair it
