Calendar: does adding an event send a notification

Thank you, so much for posting and Welcome to the Samsung Community. It is important to know if your Samsung Calendar will notify you or others about an event created by you. 

When adding an event to Samsung Calendar you can customize your alert notifications.
Your event will only be seen by other people if you choose to share it. 

To add an event go to: 
1. Samsung Calendar app
2. tap on add
3. enter a title
4. enter details for event
