Gallery app missing folders

I was prompted to archive due to storage, and I lost entire folders from my gallery app. I can't find those photos anywhere. How can I find and retrieve these?

Open the Gallery app
Tap Albums at bottom
Tap the More icon (three vertical dots)
Tap Select albums to show or Hide Albums
