I cannot search my text messages. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I didn't have this issue with Samsung Messages.

Did you back them up before reinstalling and installing lol that happened to be before

Look at the top of the page. There should be a search tool to the left of your avatar.
It's the magnifying glass icon.
