Hoping for some help from someone here as I'm all out of the obvious troubleshooting options. Been having issues with hotspot connections for six days now.
I have plenty of data (plan just started + "unlimited" data) turned my phone and comp on and off please ty of times,
updated everything and reset to oob on all network settings, turned off VPN (JIC)
tethered to the comp,
Tried a different hotspot on the comp (it worked like a charm)
Turned off data saver, turned on and off airplane mode to reset network, bought extra data, again JIC,
Anyone else having hotspot issues? Comp says it's connected, but isn't actually using the hotspot.
It was on my phone side. My laptop has Norton on with VPN and all. When I turned off the VPN from Norton on my phone is when it connected. When I have it on on the phone, it just keeps circling to try to get a connect and turn on hotspot
