After a software update several weeks ago my message app is going to Samsung Gallery as the default for attaching photos to my text. I want the default to be my Google Photos like it was before but can not find a way to do this. I have watched many YouTube videos but nothing seem to look the same on my phone. I have a S21 Ultra running One UI 6.0, Android ver 14. Using the messages app. Help please.

Hello, thank you for reaching out about this. The only way to get to Google Photos when attaching media is to navigate there yourself, as there is no way to set the default to anywhere but Gallery.

I've been considering switching to iPhone, so I guess this will be my motivation now.

I do not like this either, I've been having to delete my gallery photo's and rely on Google Photo's because of storage issues on my phone. THAT's a whole other issue.
