After updating to the new UI I have had a wealth of issues. I am not able to pull my screen down from the top and use anything like my flashlight or toggling between soundsm/vibrate/silent. All of my quick functions are gone and the only way to recover them is to restart my phone. After the restart, I am only able to toggle through the options once or twice before they dissappear. Sometimes, when there are icons, it shows it's registering my taps/touches, but nothing happens. I also cannot control my media from the swipe down page. I have been an android user for a very long time, but this update makes me want to go back to an IPhone or try a Google phone. Is there anyway to revert back to the old software until they have 7ui figured out?

Sorry but no the OS can't be reverted back to the old OS.  I would suggest wiping the cache partition to see if that fixes the issue 

Here's how to do it:

1. Power off the phone:

Completely turn off your S21. 

2. Enter recovery mode:

Press and hold the Volume Up and Power (or Bixby) buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears. 

3. Navigate to "Wipe cache partition":

Use the Volume Down button to navigate to the "Wipe cache partition" option on the recovery menu. 

4. Confirm the wipe:

Press the Power (or Bixby) button to select "Wipe cache partition" and then again to confirm. 

5. Reboot:

After the cache is wiped, use the Volume Down button to highlight "Reboot system now" and press the Power (or Bixby) button to restart your phone.

Thank you for the assistance, unfortunately that did not resolve the issue. I do see icons again after following the steps above. However, when I tap on them, nothing happens. The phone gives feedback on the icon I am tapping but nothing functions. I have tried all options and not one will activate. Ex, I cannot use my flashlight because tapping the icon yields no action from the phone. Are there other items I can try?

Have you tried in safe mode to see if they work

First select the pencil. Choose panel settings then together instead of separate. Then download the good lock app from the galaxy store. Go into that app & download QuickStar. In this app u can change panel settings to look the way u want. Hopefully that will fix it. It worked for me. Good luck 👍
