I have never used the Samsun UI. When I got the phone, it was set up with Android. Whenever it asked if I wanted to use Samsung, I said no. When I picked up my phone last night, It showed a new home page. Nothing I did would get it changed back. I followed instructions for turning off OneUI but there is no other option. All of my text messages that hadn't been read are gone as well. How do I get back the software I have been using all this time? TIA

Galaxy S21If you have owned a Samsung phone made after 2019, you have been using One UI.
There was a recent update that changed a few things.
Here is a helpful post about things you can change back: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Samsung-Apps-and-Services/Things-you-can-change-back/td-p/322806...

Galaxy S21I don't think I was clear. I wasn't using the Samsung UI at all but the basic android (Google?) that came with the phone or that T Mobile installed when I got rid of my S8. I did follow your instructions (great job BTW), but still don't have my missing notifications. Thanks again.

Galaxy S21Gotta love forced upgrades. I could have activated the coupons if I'd known they were doing that. Mine was supposed to ask me and schedule before doing that. Oh well. Guess I'll be learning UI7 now.
Thanks everyone for the help! You've been great.

Galaxy S21As far as notifications, you do have a notification history. Go to settings, notifications, advanced settings.
