The system is waiting for your device to allow access to messages you may need to grant access or show notifications from your devices bluetooth settings menu.
Everything worked very well now all of a sudden that message shows up.

Car is a 2019 Nissan Altima what can I do to get rid of this so that I can get my messages?
Delete the phone from the car and vice versa and then plug it in again. make sure that you watch for and respond with YES to any prompts about sharing data and contacts etc.
