Dex connection issues

So i have a s22. It's just a regular old 5g s22 I can connect d e x to my Samsung TV wirelessly but as soon as connected through the HDMI usb-c adapter to my Samsung TV it won't do nothing I don't know what the issue is but I need some help

1. Make sure that your cable is working by testing it with another device.
2. Make sure your dongle is working by trying it with a different phone.
3. Try normal screen share over HDMI to see if your phone is the problem, assuming that the dongle and cord worked with tohter devices.
If nothing else works, try making sure that the HDMI port you are plugging intonworks

Yeah all that works except for what do you mean screen share with HDMI I don't understand that

Just throwing this out there, but I've run across some bad data cables or intermittent problems with them as I'm moving from my 22 to my 25 ultra.

Ensure that your selecting the HDMI port that you're using as the video/audio source on the TV.
