Galaxy S22I'm really regretting upgrading to Android 15/UI7.
There has to be a way to disable notification grouping. The groupings make little to no sense.
Multiple messages from different sources all grouped under one notification.
3 sms from 3 different numbers. 1 notification. Zero sense.
I've looked around online and can't find anything useful.
Please help.

Galaxy S22I realize you're doing this solely for engagement so I'm done replying to you after this. You're wrong about updates.
If anyone has info related to the topic discussion it would be greatly appreciated.

Galaxy S22Such a long response just to say "no". AI is useless.

Galaxy S22As soon as you turn on your device for the first time, you agree to terms of service from both companies.
As far as the grouping of notifications, this too is a Google edict. They have reserved that area of your status bar for live notifications. While you might be able turn this feature off, it will not allow more than 3 notifications. As to notification stacked as cards, this too was a Google edict. This is how it is on my Pixel too, as it it is on my S25U.
I am sorry this is not to your liking, this is how it is.
Maybe a developer will see the need for a 3rd party app that will fit your needs. Until that time, you will need to adjust to how things are now.

Galaxy S22Auto updates still disabled for those wondering. I just manually checked for an available download and sadly they haven't corrected the issue.
Has anyone identified a work around yet?

Galaxy S22There is no workaround. You have to live with it, or buy another phone. But, since it's a Google edict, you will have to live with it on another Android phone as well - unless some other brand customized their launcher to unstack.

Galaxy S22Best advice I can give to anyone coming across this post looking for help, is to ditch Samsung, grab a pixel phone and switch to GrapheneOS.
Full customization, highly privacy focused, allowing users to do what they want. Night and day difference and no oppressive company lording over my hardware.
Samsung has decided to ignore user issues because they have a large market share and could care less about us.
Make the switch, it's the only thing they'll understand.

Galaxy S22Holy, this is embarrassing by the ambassador here. I was able to refuse system updates for almost a year, always postponing it. Now during a repair, they updated my phone and I'll be ditching it now. Who thought this was a good idea? I'm routinely missing messages and mails since it's all clumped into a single notification while Snapchat can still send 10 separate notifications. Samsung is heading in the wrong direction and I'll be swapping manufacturers. Really a shame since I liked to phone, buds and watch - but seeing this post just opened my eyes to how Samsung and their ambassadors think

Galaxy S22You may have been able to do that prior to Android 14, but you can no longer put it off for that long, only a few days, when it will install regardless of your desire not to update. Since this is a Google mandate, good luck switching to another brand and expecting different behavior - unless you mean you are going to Apple - I don't know what their policy is. Who thought it was a good idea? Obviously Google. Sometimes the software developers have to protect users from their own bad practices. Failure to update leaves security holes. Regardless of their motivation, the software is theirs to modify as they wish. It is licensed to you under a user agreement that you agreed to in order to put your phone into service. ANY app you use can be modified and updated by the app developer without your consent. All software remains the property of the developer.
