Got an unlocked s22+. Ported everything over almost from my s10. No voicemail. Nowhere to be found. Had the Verizon visual voicemail(love it) on the unlocked s10. Use straighttalk as my carrier. They insist the app is there. It's not!! My friend got a s22 ultra and his ported over fine. Same cell service. Help please. All I can find in play store is Google voicemail which cost $$.

It is my understanding that visual voicemail is a carrier-specific feature, so you must have a phone that has the carrier's CSC (Customer Service Software) for it to work. To check, for example, if with AT&T, when the phone is started, it briefly displays the AT&T logo.

Regular voicemail, by default, can be accessed via the phone keypad by pressing and holding '1'. There is a reel-to-reel icon that denotes this option.

Since Visual Voicemail and Voicemail are carrier features you should contact them for assistance. 1777508076744.jpg

I did. He insisted it was on the new phone. Kept telling him it wasn't till I gave up trying to get him to understand

What is the model code for your S22ร—? Does it end in a U or U1?
If it is not there it is probably because it was previously on a network other than Verizon.

If you can provide a screenshot of your software page and specifically the area where it says Software Service provider I can better help you.

Carriers block this app to get you to download their voicemail apps. Verizon doesn't have one.

You need to remove the screenshot with you IMIE's.

You don't have a factory unlocked phone, you have a carrier device as indicated by the U at the end of your model code.

The 2nd screenshot doesn't show who the Service Provider is, it should look like the screenshot I am providing.1777564948048.jpg
