Please help!! Out of no where, maybe two months who my wired android auto on my S22+ stopped working when it's plugged in. I get in my wife's car, wireless connects right away. But in my car (wired) I plug it in and android auto won't connect. I plug other people's Galaxys into my car, works fine. I plug mine into other people's cars and it still won't work. Its 100% an issue with my phone. It's not the wire and it's not my car. Tech support has been beyond useless insisting I get a new wire or go to my dealership to have my car fixed. Everyone else's phone works just fine in my car. I love Samsung and have been a loyal customer for many years. The S22+ is my 8th or 9th Galaxy phone. But $900+ for a phone and something as simple as AAuto doesn't work and tech support having no solutions at all has me really down on Samsung right now.
I'm having the same problem. My old Note 20 never had an issue, my iPhone never had an issue. But my brand new S22+ will on occasion decide not to play music. It will launch but won't play anything. All software is up to date. I tried clearing the cache and data for Android Auto. When it happens I have tried restarting the car, restarting the phone, restarting both at that time. Nothing works. But once I get out of the car and go about my day, I can get back in much later and everything will be fine. There is no rhyme nor reason to why it does this. It has done it in the morning, afternoon, evening. And it has done it ever since I got the phone. It is driving me batty.
