Galaxy S23Hello set74o, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns about your device camera freezing while zooming in and out. There are a few troubleshooting steps that we can try to resolve the issue:
Reset and Update your Camera app: Open camera, tap settings, tap reset settings, then the camera app will reset to its defaults. Tap settings again, tap about camera and check if any updates are available (If there are no updates available, your screen will read "The latest version is already installed".
Verify that your device is up to the latest software
Boot your device in Safe Mode to verify that there is not a third party app causing the issue:
Booting your Samsung Galaxy into Safe mode | Samsung CA
Perform a factory data reset, please be sure to back up your device before performing the reset:
Perform a factory reset on your Galaxy phone or tablet
If you are still experiencing issues after completing the troubleshooting, then I recommend that you have your device check out by one of our Certified Service Technicians. You can Private Message any moderator by selecting and clicking on the chat option, or you can proceed with the self service option here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/
Be sure to click " โ Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you.
