Galaxy S23Hi,
I have the exact same issue as the original poster. My Samsung S23 Ultra has terrible sound both on the speaker at the earpiece and the bottom speaker. It is so bad I find it difficult to make out what people are saying in calls. Not great. There is a constant crackle whilst listening to voice or music that makes is impossible to use. The phone has been well looked after, has never got wet or been dropped. This issue started after one of the UI updates so I'm fairly sure it's not a hardware issue. I'm in the progress of factory resetting my phone to see if this helps, but I'd appreciate some support from Samsung that does not involve sending useless links that do not address the problem.
