Galaxy S23
I have a S23ultra that I use as a secondary phone. It used to be my main phone until the beginning of 2025. Since that time I have used it for phone calls and messaging bu I have not signed into any accounts. No Google account, no Samsung account. It was reset a couple of years ago and an account was never put on the phone again. Over the last couple of years the phone has been reset several times. I normally check permissions from time to time and that few weeks I have noticed the stock phone app has been requesting permission. I check the setting and it seems I couldn't disable this. Last night after a reboot, I saw a location being used again. I checked expecting to find the phone app listed again, and it was there. However, there was also an app called Knoxzt framework. I checked the permission and it showed to use only while app was being used. I have never heard of this app so I googled it. Basically Google says it's controlled by it from the enterprise I work for.
This is not a company phone. I bought it new and unlocked, so no carrier apps are installed either. I have never setup this phone to be used by a company, and like I stated earlier, there are no accounts on the device. The device also hasn't been connected to wifi in years, if it ever has at all. Google says since I don't have an enterprise account I need to have the phone reflashed or discard the phone. While not always trusting everything Google says, this does sound like a security concern. Can anyone here explain this?

Thanks for a response. I did a reset yesterday. I do see a lot of knox apps installed, I don't see the specific knoxzt app. Would this show in the regular apps menu with the show system apps toggled on?
I am also concerned that perhaps the device is now listed as an enterprise device and someone else is invading my privacy.
