Not receiving text messages

It appears that i'm not receiving text messages from people that I have received many times before they.Of course have iphones. I started to change to google messengers, and stopped.I don't know if that has anything to do with it.But I have been receiving everybody else's text messages. What would cause this?

I've been using Google Messaging for 12 years,never had a issue with group messages.
I imagine the thought of "operator error " never comes to mind for the A lot of people supposedly having problems.

If you go to Google Messages reviews on the Google Play Store, you will see it. It could be, I'm not sure, but I tried once and couldn't activate RCS, so I disabled it.

I see reviews for many things in life,which I take with a grain of salt. Have to really read between the lines and just trust my own instincts.

Fair enough. I always look for the bad reviews and see if they're severe or not, then I'll decide.

Correct me here, you were getting texts in Samsung Messages from iPhones, you switched to Google Messages, switched back to Samsung Messages and now you aren't getting messages from iPhones anymore?

I always had samsung texts messages. I was going to switch, but as I said before, it wanted to delete my a o l email. I do not use g mail.I wanna get rid of gmail, google has made my secondary AOL. Email my primary one and doesn't always have my primary emailaol listed. I never used gmail.I was told I needed a gmail address, when I first got the phone decades ago. But I never, ever used it.But it keeps getting duplicate emails from somewhere.
