Hello Community Members. We understand the frustrations caused by the battery drain on your phones and have found a solution.  This is occurring on T-Mobile phones because of the mobile services app.  In order to remove the application, first open Settings, then open Apps, press the filter and sort icon to the right of Apps. Then turn on Show System Apps and search Mobile Services. Select the three dots to the right of mobile services, and then select Uninstall updates. You will need to select OK. After you have selected OK make sure to check the version it should be downgraded.

This will get you back up and running. If not, donโ€™t hesitate to reach out to us once again!  Thank you for being a Samsung customer.

Hello @CarlosPR, thank you for reaching out to the Community. I can fully understand how having battery issues can be frustrating and an inconvenience. There are a few things that you can try to remedy the issue. First make sure that you have the latest software update. Recent updates have helped to address battery drain issues. You can also clear the cache partition, to do this power off the unit then hold Volume Up + Power to enter recovery mode, select Wipe cache partition, and reboot the phone. Also try toggling Airplane mode and check your signal strength. A weak signal can affect the battery performance. You can also put unused apps into deep sleep mode to stop
them from running in the background. You can also access additional steps by clicking on this link https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001538/. Please feel free to let us know if any of these steps helped to resolve the issue.

They've removed the ability to wipe the cache partition ๐Ÿคจ unless he hasn't taken updates.

And you replied to the wrong people.

The wipe cache partition option (along with other items) was removed from recovery with the February 2026 security patch. It should *not* be recommended as a troubleshooting measure.

Y'all should know this by now. This has literally been discussed dozens of times. Furthermore, that obsolete option is still listed in official guidance and should be edited out.

I recently updated my S24 plus this morning. After updating now my phone charging is very slow or won't hold a charge. Also having internet connection issues where it will disconnect and connect at times. I never had any of these issues before installing the April security patch this morning. I hope these issues will get resolved ASAP . Thank you.

My phone has done the same thing. In addition, I've heard other people say they've had problems being hacked. Someone just tried to withdraw 6800 dollars from my doordash account. I'm sure it has something to do with knox matrix. I can't uninstall it. Please send another update to correct this problem
