I do the smart select from edge panels now to save areas of the screen

Settings>display>navigation bar>toggle on circle to search

That doesnt let you save pictures. There used to be a share option or a copy option and go from there

Screenshot sharing via circle to search has been phased out in favor of Nano Banana.

You will need to either take screenshots using the traditional method or using Samsung's AI select tool (available in the edge panel)
