I love the Assistant menu!
You can hide it as a side toggle and make it pretty much transparent.

I use it as my power off and for screenshots.

My power button is mapped for Gemini. This allows me to quickly get to the power off menu without having to use 2 buttons or pulling down the shade.
For screenshots it is a brilliant addition.

Thanks, I accidentally added it while trying to add my screenshot button. I prefer screenshot there but thanks for the power off tip.
