Icon question

How do I get rid of the battery icon. Usually before the update of 8.0, the 8.5... I can't find the setting to completely hide the icon. 

Any ideas?

Settings > notifications > status bar. Untoggle "show battery background."

It doesn't even show in the help section of the settings I cannot find it anywhere

To completely remove the battery info you need to use the QuickStar module of Samsung’s Good Lock. It is in QuickStar-> Visibilty of Indicator icons -> Battery icon
