Galaxy S241. It's a new OS. It will take time for it to relearn usage patterns, as has already been pointed out. This can take a week or two.
2. People tend to use their phones more after such a large update (trying to figure everything out), even though they may think they're not.
3. If you haven't done so yet, clear the device cache partition. I'll list steps separately. This partition contains cached system files from the old OS and needs to be manually cleared so the new OS can generate its own files.
That said, now that the update is more widespread and more users are reporting in, they're starting to figure out that the battery drain primarily affects S24, S25, and foldables users. As stated in this article, "A fix is expected in the May 2025 update, addressing software bugs causing excessive power use."

Galaxy S24Did you wipe the cache partition of the phone? That could help your problem. Here are the steps:
1) Turn off your device.
2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.
3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."
4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.
5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."
6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.
7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

Galaxy S24Since the recent system upgrade, I've observed a significant decrease in battery life.
