Galaxy S24I do not know if this slider appears if you do not have categories on, as I have had my categories on forever. If it does not appear, first, make sure you have notification categories turned on: settings/notifications/advanced settings/manage notification categories for all apps. Then go to your messages notifications settings. Tap on categories and then tap on new messages. When you tap on that, you should see the options for alert/silent, your sound choice, and a vibration slider. If you do not want vibration, turn off the slider. But, since you cannot set a custom sound for the app unless you have categories on, the vibration slider might not appear.

Galaxy S24Which messaging app are you using? Did you turn off the vibration slider in the notification setting?
