The Google Play system update rolled back

Greetings to some members. It seems that after updating to October, the Google Play system reverts to September. Apologies if I'm not clear; I'm using a translator. Thank you in advance.

Google has done an amazing job messing up Play system updates this year. Some users, like myself, are stuck on July. It appears this issue is unique to Samsung devices running One UI 8/Android 16.

This is the first I'm hearing about an update rolling back to a previous version. Unfortunately, all we can do is wait for Google to straighten out their mess.

Thank you, I was on the October version after the November security patch, it reverted to September. I really don't know why. Thank you for answering my question, blessings 🙏

Getting on Play *services* beta doesn't update Play *system*. So whatever you're claiming "100 percent works" ... clearly doesn't.

Play services (in your screenshot) is different from Play system. I've mentioned a few times in this community that Google sucks at naming things. They gave us:

Play Store
Play services
Play system (AKA Mainline services)

These are all different components that do very different things. In this post, we're primarily concerned with Play system, which is stuck on different months' updates for different users.

The Device Health Services, Samsung has disabled this because of redundancy. This is what Device Care is handling now since 2023, final sever was Ui7 with the release of the S25 series. Google is now compliant to EU regulations concerning battery information, Health %, cycle counts, manufacturing date. They went with world wide not regional. Samsung knew that this was in Android 16 because they were working on Ui7 and 8 simultaneously. The EU they have to show that information, the US they hide it.

Show me you are something later than the September Google Play System update. Google Play Services is not the same thing as Google Play System. I too am in Beta of everything Google on my S25U.
