This is a very frustrating issue. The ui elements either enlarge or shrink when using the modes and the only way to correct it to restart the phone.
I use this phone for work and have a mode designed to keep me focused at work. When I get late because of this bug because I can't sign into my app to punch in it's very headache inducing.
I know it has to do with the fact I have it set to lower screen resolution to save battery at work but it makes it impossible to type anything. Back when I had my note 8 this was also a huge issue. It isn't just the keyboard. The status bar also gets all warped and other various elements.
This happens in 6.1, 7.0. Not on 6.0.
I would use gboard or stock Samsung keyboard but I don't support keyloggers. This issue doesn't happen after every mode switch. Sometimes quickly switching the mode and switching back does fix it but that's if I'm lucky.
