While I do find the week to week comparison interesting, there is one aspect of Digital Wellbeing that is totally off and inaccurate.  That aspect is the section that shows how long you used your phone while driving.

I never, ever touch my phone while my vehicle is in motion. But it seems that anything that triggers the screen to come on (phone calls, notifications, etc.) it counts as the phone being in use while driving. This should be changed and it should be easy to do so. Triggers that are automatically triggering the screen to come on should be ignored. Manual touches that activate the screen or apps on the phone should be counted.

90% of the time, my phone is in my side pocket (tactical pants for work). The other 10% of the time, the phone is in the holder because I need to use Waze. But 100% of the time, I am not interacting with that phone while the vehicle is in motion. But it seems that Digital Wellbeing thinks otherwise. That's not right.

This works the same way in my insurance app.  There is simply no way for the phone or an app to determine whether phone use is hands free or in your hand.  It can only determine that the phone was in use.

That's the thing, though. I play music via YouTube Music constantly while driving. That doesn't register as using your phone while driving. However, I've noticed if the screen comes on for any reason, that's when you get tagged. There should be a way to differentiate between something that auto triggers your screen vs a manual input by the user.

Its tracking data. Anytime you use data, driving or not, its counted as usage

It also can't determine whether you were a passenger or the driver.
