EXTENSION OF AUTO RESTART TIME

In Samsung galaxy S25 ultra, there is an AUTO RESTART option, but it has certain conditions, like phone should be not in use, 30% battery life etc.

One hour auto restart is not appropriate. It should be max up to 4 hours so both phone and user can reset themselves. Auto restart should be at the discretion of user for how much time he wants to phone to turn off and automatically turn on.

In sleep mode phone still runs and its running is useless.

If Chinese phones based on the same android system have auto/scheduled on/off option which is their pulse point then why Samsung wont able to do so. Bixby can be used to scheduled on/off but for this it uses routines & modes and needs internet access for this, which is surely battery draining.

It would be a simple thing for Samsung UI developers to extend auto restart from 1 hour to several, but it will break the long-term Samsung’s weak point.

Samsung must adjust this option in upcoming updates and not to make it ego issue like Nokia did in past.

@Mahdi125 The 1 hour mentioned in the Auto restart options means that the restart can occur from the time you schedule up to 59 minutes later. It does NOT mean that the phone is off for an hour. It is simply talking about the time that the restart will occur.

It must be turned off because same android can do the auto on/off in every other brand.

@Mahdi125 That would be referring to the Android scheduled power off and scheduled power on features. It is not the same as the Auto restart in the Samsung settings.

P. S. ..as for myself, my phone has never needed Auto restart. Everything working as it should😊 I think I misinterpreted the Members point. My bad

One uses auto restart not because something is not working properly, but to *keep* it working properly.  It's regular maintenance - like oil changes or brushing your teeth.  A periodic restart cleans things out.  Once a week or once a month is fine. 

If you reboot your phone for any reason, you are actually doing this maintenance, even if it's not a scheduled restart.  Scheduling just makes it so you don't even have to think about it.

You are misinterpreting the purpose of the auto restart process.  It is to optimize and clear out temporary files to keep your phone working properly. It's also completely optional. I schedule my auto optimization restart for a time when I specifically know I will not be using it, so as not to interfere with the restart schedule. @LongHiker  is right, it is just a restart for optimization, NOT the amount of time the phone will stay off.  Just turn the thing off manually and then back on when you are ready.  

If you are looking for something to give you a break from screen time so you can "reset", then you can set limits in digital well being, you can schedule do not disturb mode (your phone stays on, but you are not disturbed by notifications or calls) or turn on do not disturb manually.  All notifications will be available but soundless, and all calls will go direct to voicemail without ringing through (you can allow calls and messages from specific, important contacts if need be.  You can even restrict app usage, so that if you are tempted to use your phone during your "reset" time, you will not be able to (of course, this involves some amount of willpower and self-restraint, as you can at any time turn off the restrictions or the mode).

Also, if you want the features of the "Chinese phones", then go buy one.

Nothing more or less. No need to defend Samsung or offend it. Logic is simple. I'm here in community to get like minded  users to discuss it.

Other Solutions available as you mentioned. But a simple addition of extended restart time or inclusion of scheduled on/off is not a demand where people get hyper
