Retrieving contacts back

Okay so my step daughter was using her dad email and all his contacts were in her phone and I deleted the contacts from her phone not realizing that his contacts will also delete from his phone also, How do we get all his contacts back on his phone? I tried and no success

login that gmail to this link, i am pretty sure those contacts still available inside trash bin

How can I retrieve deleted contact? When I click the link contacts.google.com/trash the trash bin is empty i dont know what this screen is

It shouldn't be empty when u click the link unless u didn't delete any contacts and this screenshot looks like your favorite contacts the people you call the most
