Uber Notification doesn't make sound while on call...

I have noticed that in some samsung devices Uber driver app doesn't make notification sound while on call, i have tried every setting on my phone, I have galaxy S23 Ultra, I have seen this issue with galaxy A15 too... But my friend has galaxy a54 he doesn't have this problem. Share your thoughts on this I have literally tried everything on youtube, chatgpt, Grok, perplexity they concluded that it is a samsung has sound bugs especially on calls

I believe most, if not all, notifications are muted while on a call. Who wants to have their calls interrupted by many notification sounds? You still get the notifications, they just will not make a sound. You can make sure vibration is on for the Uber notification, that way you will at least feel it if the phone is in your hand. If you are using ear buds, you can set the Uber app to have a separate app sound to come out of the phone's speaker. Separate app sound only works when a BT device is connected - you choose which app you want to use the BT device or use the phone speaker. You set this up in the sounds and vibration settings. It may or may not work for notifications, as it says media sounds, but certainly worth a try.

Notification sound is important, it is as important as changing a phone just for it... I have tried using separate app for sound it doesn't work on calls with Uber driver App...

All notifications are muted when you are on a call Seriously, why would one want to have a phone conversation constantly be interrupted by notification sounds?

Try this: open the phone app, tap the dot menu, go to settings. Look for "call alerts and ringtones" and then turn on "allow alarm/notification sounds in calls"

Have you been able to find a solution ? I've just experienced the same issue starting from today. Its been working previously fine for the last 2 years. Samsung s23 Plus.

Yes i haven't found any solution yet.....they did something with audio prioritization while on calls and it is very strict to calls
