Is it just me or is anyone else having issues with Android Auto, since the latest update or is it me? Thank you for any guidance!

Thanks. I'm not trying to get it to use Android Auto. Trying to get it to stop crashing when using anything else else! Repeatedly crashes System UI app. Uploaded crash reports to no avail. 🤨🤷🏾

Just so I understand.  You are able to connect to your car via Bluetooth, which is not the issue.  The issue being that when you *are* connected, whenever you try to use any other app, such as music, your phone crashes?  BTW, I don't understand how you could have "removed" Android Auto from your phone, as it's built into the operating system.  The best you can do is disable it.

FWIW, I have a 2017 Hyundai and, while I have had no issue connecting via BT to make and receive calls, I have never successfully been able to play music from my phone (BT Audio in my car), absent using Android Auto.  However, my phone doesn't crash on the attempt, it just does nothing.  I do not use either of the assistants, so I don't know what would happen if I tried.

Have you put in an error report? https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692  It's best to put in an error report immediately after the error is replicated so that it will still be contained in the logs.

Yep! The Android Auto and my S26 Ultra don't even show the not responding message.

Need to be your phone and keep an eye out for corruption of something within your Android system because the failure that I experienced seems to have laid some kind of bad egg in the operating system that doesn't allow me to stably use my s25 ultra after upgrading to 8.5 when he's had that unfortunate encounter with Android auto so the fact that it's not interacting may turn out to be a godsend for the stability of your phone good luck

Yes, android auto won't connect wirelessly at all. My car only has wireless and gets stuck on 'android auto is connecting' screen. I have tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling apps, unpairing and repairing . Changing loads of different developer options. Other android phones work flawlessly .  I have this issue on s23u and s24
