Lock down mode

I noticed when powering off the phone now we have something called lockdown mode, Does anyone know what that does exactly?

This is not new, been a thing since Android 9 in 2018.

It's new to me cause I never ever had that on my phone when powering it off, I checked my boyfriend phone and it's not on his phone so Idk what you're talking about saying it's not new

It's not a new feature. It use to be located in the settings. Its just located in a different place. Robin621k is correct.

Well like I said I never ever seen it on my phone before, This is my first time seeing it on my phone and I definitely never seen it in the settings

You had to turn it on in settings, it's been so long I don't remember where the setting is.

Go to settings, Lock Screen and AOD, Secure Lock screen settings, it's there.
