Galaxy S26Hi, I'm having the issues protecting the wifi/mob.
I've seen a tiktok video that with the lock network and security on, no one can turn off WiFi or mob data.
https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNR4T4NMX/
I turn it on by I can still turn it on and off without a password.
Any help please?

Galaxy S26Yes, it's a security setting so in case you lose your phone, nobody can turn off the WI-Fi or mobile data preventing you from finding your phone by tracking it.

Galaxy S26If you are logged into your phone, YOU can turn the wi-fi and mobile on and off. If you have extend unlock on, and the phone is unlocked YOU can turn the wi-fi on and off. When the phone is locked, neither you, nor anyone else, should be able to turn off the wi-fi and mobile data. See what happens about turning it off when the phone is actually locked. You can easily lock the phone screen by long pressing the lock icon on the lock screen, or pressing the side button for the shutdown options and put your phone in lockdown mode. After you do that, test the feature, you should not be able to turn the wi-fi or mobile data off, or even access the quick panel at all unless you unlock the phone.

Galaxy S26That is a legitimate video showing a legitimate setting. I explained above the possible reason why they can still turn it off without inputting the password/pin. It only works if the phone is locked - which it should be if it's not in use when lost or stolen.

Galaxy S26Too many incorrect attempts could mean that while your phone was pocketed, your screen kept activating and fabric rubbing against it as accidental touches could have been interpreted as incorrect login attempts. This has been known to happen. I think you have to contact Samsung along with proof of purchase to get the MCK (they don't want to give it to just anyone without proof). I do not believe your carrier can do this, but they might be able to if your phone is a carrier model.
If you are successful in getting it unlocked, make sure that you have accidental touch protection enabled.
Also, you should have made your own post on this instead of tagging on to an unrelated matter. You'd get more help.
