So when I upgraded from the s24u to the s26u I used smart switch like I always do when upgrading, it transferred everything successfully, even in the transfer results page it shows everything including the secure folder containing 6gb of data having transferred.

But when I access the secure folder, it appears empty. Did I just lose everything in my secure folder or is it laying dormant somewhere?

Hello DrunkSparky, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns regarding your secure folder not transferring when using smart switch. You will need to set up both devices to perform the transfer. If you are using a wireless transfer place the devices within 4 inches of each other. If you are using a wired connection plug one end of the USB cable into the charging port of the new phone and connect the other end to the charging port of the old phone. Next open Smart Switch on both devices. On the new device tap receive on this phone and on the old device tap send from this phone. Select your transfer method: wireless or wired.

Next, select Secure Folder: Complete the connection by tapping Allow on the old device and tap the right arrow icon next to apps on your new device. Select Secure Folder. Tap done and then tap Transfer. Once the transfer is complete tap close on the new device.

Open Secure Folder on the new device to make sure that the data has been transferred.
