Why doesn't t-mobile allow for automatic system updates? (For the record this has happened on every galaxy phone ive had since my s3....so this isn't a beta problem.)

You will want to go to settings and search for what is circled in red. Make sure your auto updates are enabled and your wifi only updates is turned off.1779130256895.jpg1779130256922.jpg

You have to either schedule or install the update once you get the update notification. Updates only install automatically if you keep ignoring the notification, usually within 3 days. T-Mobile doesn't restrict automatic updates.

The update notification does not show as a pop up. You will just see the update icon on the status bar. It should appear in the notifcation area that there is an update available.

When you get the one UI update there will be 2 options: install now and schedule install. Hit schedule and it will allow you to set a schedule for the downloads to automatically update.

Yes. That is the only time you are able to schedule it to automatically update at a specified date and time for each upcoming update to the One UI.

The issue is not T-Mobile related. It is Samsung related.
