I cannot get notifications of texts in Google messages to come thru on my new Galaxy 7 watch

Did you go in the wearables app and make sure its turned on in notifications? I have the ultra and mine show on the watch.

Did you set it in the waer app to allow the app to send notifications to your watch? Wear app/watch settings/notifications/app notifications, select Google messages. And did you make it your default messaging app on the watch?

Tech support found that "Notification Categories" under App Notifications/Google Messages was hidden and he revealed them.  Then they were marked "Allowed" and thus the notifications are now coming thru.

Problem solved!
