Galaxy WatchJust select "always show on both" dismissing a notification on one device will dismiss it on the other, so you don't have to dismiss it twice. Very few exceptions to that, as I find that when I get a calendar notification from Google calendar, dismissing it on my phone does not dismiss it from the watch, but dismissing it from the watch dismisses it from the phone. Same in reverse for the health app medication reminder, dismissing from the watch will not dismiss it from the phone, but dismissing it from the phone will dismiss it from the watch. I don't know why this is.
Yes, you may be able to create a mode to mute notifications on the watch when it is not charging, but it's not necessary to turn off "sync with dnd", unless you include dnd in that particular mode. I do not believe you can automate the activation of the mode, but you can create a routine to add a button action to activate the mode when you put the watch on your wrist.
