Watch 6 Classic Issues after update

After the last update my watch 6 is barely usable. At some point it crashes and then it goes into a reboot loop and I can't get it to stop until the battery dies. Has anyone else had this issue? I've factory reset and it still hasn't fixed the problem.

Hi @RomeNTexas, thanks for reaching out to the Samsung Community. That has to be so frustrating to have your watch in a constant boot loop. I would love to help in any way I can. Since you have already tried some troubleshooting, and a Factory Reset didn't work, I would think the best option would be to see if there is an authorized repair center in your area, so they can evaluate what's going on. I will also link an article of other steps you can try before the service.

I have a watch 6 classic and not a watch 6 but I assume the updates are similar. I have the latest build number R960XXU2CZB6 installed and am not having any issues with my watch 6 classic.

Have you tried to wipe the cache partition to see if that helps?

Hope someone with a watch 6 can help more.

I've done it all and it's still failing, even more now. I went and bought an Ultra. I'm sure Samsung is happy bought a new one. The update caused this. It was working just fine until that update.

It could be the update if it got corrupted, but could also be a coincidental hardware issue. Makes sense to get it serviced or replace it.โ˜น๏ธ

No worries! Hope it works out for you. Be careful to select only the Wipe Cache Partition option from all the options.

I think I did it wrong and I didn't find that option, you think you can give me some guidance on that. P as I'm typing my watch decided to crash again so whatever I tried didn't work ๐Ÿ˜†
