My two devices noted about used to work flawlessly but something happened. Over the course of the last several weeks my TV requires me to go to settings, choose, and select the soundbar so it can play via HDMI Arc otherwise it is sending sound via TV Speaker. I finally went through all the settings on the TV and soundbar and re-enabled everything to get it to work but when I power on the TV the soundbar still does not power on. It powers off however. I have the Anynet+ enabled, all HDMI's enabled on input signal setting, the TV remote is setup as the universal remote and can see the soundbar, etc. HDMI Arc is working and Dolby is enabled, etc. in the TV sound settings. I ordered a new HDMI certified 2.1 cable but this was not happening previously. There are no software or firmware updates to be had either. Am I missing a setting or something? TV and soundbar were purchased 4.5 years ago. I'd be surprised if either one is on the fritz.
